Four students from Trinity College Dublin - Mason Chesla, Conor Maguire, Robert Skelton and Andreas Schmid were the worthy winners of the Second Irish leg of the Global Investment Research Challenge (GIRC). Five Universities from around the country took part in this year's GIRC; NUI Galway, University College Cork, University College Dublin, University of Ulster and Trinity College Dublin. The competition spanned 4 months from November to February. Teams of 3-5 students from each of the universities wrote a written report in the form of a stock recommendation on CRH and presented their investment case to a panel of five judges at the GIRC Final on 17th February at Davy offices, Dawson St. Paragon Executive Intelligence sponsored the team cash prize.
